BBA Filtration is a part of BBA Nonwovens, one of the world's largest nonwovens manufacturers. We control the development and manufacturing of our products from beginning to end to ensure that they are of the highest quality. We routinely perform in-plant trials, detail projected cost savings and perform coolant analysis on your system. We analyze media performance, perform fiber identification and develop new products in our fully-equipped laboratories. In addition, we offer classes at your site that are designed to help improve your staff's knowledge of your coolant system and explain what types of products to consider on various coolant applications.

BBA Filtration offers a variety of choices in coolant media; all are available in a range of weights and widths to suit your specific requirements. Reemay® is a continuous filament, spunbonded polyester media with high strength and good flow rates. Synergex® is a multi-layered material produced by laminating lightweight layers of Reemay into a single sheet; it can be flat-bonded for a low weight media that can achieve the filtration performance of other heavier weight media, or pattern-bonded for applications where flow rates are high or when the filter cannot form a cake on the media. MasterFlo® is a needlepunched polyester media that provides excellent depth filtration with extended index cycles and a corresponding cost reduction; it is unaffected by tramp oils and can be used in both vacuum and pressure filters. Snofil® can be either chemically or thermally bonded, and it can be produced from a single fiber type or a blend of fiber types (including dissimilar types), varying diameters and non-thermoplastic fibers such as rayon; it's an effective, low-cost material and is generally the preferred media for gravity filters. Snoweb® is a wetlaid media made of polyester fibers and cellulose that is particularly efficient in systems plagued by tramp oil. Celestra® is a low-denier polypropylene spunbond media that is excellent for the removal of unwanted oil in the system.

Sonic Bonded Layered Polypropylene (SBLP) is a multi-layered media made by sonically laminating lightweight layers of polypropylene; it provides longer cycle times than single-layered polypropylene of equivalent weights and is excellent for tramp oil removal. Typar® spunbonded polypropylene media offers excellent uniformity and filtration efficiencies at a high strength. (Typar is sold under the registered trademark, Tekton®, outside of North, Central and South America, Israel and South Africa.) UltraFlo® is a spunbond/meltblown/spunbond (SMS) with outer layers that provide strength and an inner layer that provides extremely fine filtration; it is typically used on pressure filters.
