On August 20, 2001, National Filter Media Corporation (NFM) acquired the Industrial Fabrics Division (IFD) of Snow Filtration Company, LLC (Snow), a BBA Filtration company. IFD was the cut and sew operation of Snow for making filter bags, press cloths, and other converted filtration products.

Since 1906, NFM has been manufacturing the highest quality products for liquid and dry filtration. NFM has three manufacturing plants; Wallingford, Connecticut; Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Salt Lake City, Utah. After a short transition period, IFD will discontinue manufacturing products at Snow's facility and NFM will assume manufacture of IFD products at its plants.

The Nonwovens Division of Snow Filtration Company, LLC is unaffected by this change. BBA Filtration remains committed to being a full service nonwovens leader for the global filtration industry.
