BBA Group PLC announces that it has completed the acquisition of the Snow Filtration Company.

This acquisition will significantly enhance the sales and distribution arm of the BBA Nonwovens Filtration Group while adding a variety of value added products to BBA's broad range of nonwoven rolled good technologies. Snow has distributed BBA Nonwovens Reemay Inc. products for over 25 years in North American markets. By combining the diverse technologies of BBA Nonwovens Filtration with Snow's strong sales and distribution experience with BBA's products, BBA's ability to serve the customer more effectively will be maximized by providing a broader product line and a single contact for all BBA Filtration Media. This acquisition will also better facilitate the development of new products to meet our customers' present and emerging requirements.

The Snow Filtration Company and the BBA Filtration Group will be consolidated under a single leadership. The following organizational structure is effective immediately: Frank Baker, Filtration Business Manager, BBA Nonwovens - Americas, will have responsibility for strategic planning and business development. Frank Strittmatter, Vice President Nonwovens Division at Snow Filtration and his organization will be responsible for sales and distribution.

North American customers of Snow Filtration and BBA Nonwovens will continue to be serviced by their current account representatives until further notice. The European and Asian markets will continue to be handled by their respective BBA account representatives.

Snow Filtration is located in a 100,000 square foot facility in West Chester, OH, which houses its Industrial Filter Manufacturing Division and Nonwovens Converting Division. Snow has 100 employees.
