BBA Filtration Sells IFD Division

On August 20, 2001, BBA Filtration sold the Industrial Fabrics Division (IFD) of Snow Filtration to National Filter Media. IFD was the cut and sew operation of Snow for making filter bags, press cloths and other converted filtration products; the nonwovens division of Snow is unaffected by this change. For more information, see IFD sale.


Upcoming Shows: Filtech, 3rd International Conference "Filtration in Transportation," and Filtration 2001 Shows

October, November and December will be busy months around the world for BBA Filtration team members..

  • On October 16-18, BBA Filtration was at the Filtech Show in Dusseldorf, Germany.

  • On November 6-7, team members will be in Stuttgart, Germany at the 3rd International Conference “Filtration in Transportation.” Thomas Loer will present a paper entitled “Nonwoven Technologies for Industrial Coolant Oil Filter Systems,” and Michael Baumgartner and Matt Middlebrooks will present a paper on “The Influence of Humidity for the Performance of Gas Phase Filters.”

  • On December 4-6, BBA Filtration will have booth 403 at the Filtration 2001 International Conference & Exposition at Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois, USA. In addition, Matt Middleton will give the presentation on “The Importance of Humidity for the Performance of Gas Phase Filters.” For more information, click on Filtration 2001.

Mitch McCreary Joins BBA Filtration

He’s back! Mitch McCreary has re-joined Snow Filtration after a three-year hitch as Marketing Manager/Specialty/Liquid Filtration N.A. for another major nonwovens manufacturer.

Mitch is a seasoned professional with experience in a variety of liquid and air filtration market segments. His experience includes, but is not limited to, applications such as swimming pool/spa, potable and non-potable water, disposal liquid cartridges, industrial and chemical, hydraulic and fuel, breweries/beverage/food and other liquid filtration end uses. He will oversee the Specialty Liquid Filtration business of Snow Filtration, LLC, a BBA Filtration company as the Market Manager for Liquid Filtration.
