BBA Filtration® Introduces Reemay® Elite
BBA Filtration® introduces a dynamic and important new filtration innovation; Reemay Elite sets a new standard for spot-to-spot uniformity for advanced filtration and membrane/support media. The premium grade, polyester nonwoven provides heightened reliability and fitness for critical medical applications, diagnostic devices, and nano-, ultra- and micro-filtration uses, such as reverse osmosis. In casting applications, the uniformity of Elite can result in fewer defects and higher operating yields. For more information, click here.
BBA Filtration® Welcomes Donna Kuznof and Joe Zazeski

Donna Kuznof and Joe Zazeski recently joined the BBA Filtration® team in the Snow Filtration division. Donna, who was previously at Snow for 12 years, has experience in the general metalworking and food processing industries. She will be responsible for coolant filtration sales in the Northeastern and central Midwestern U.S. and Canada. Joe has more than 17 years of experience, initially in the vacuum cleaner air filtration market where he was instrumental in introducing the first microfiltration dust bags; additional experience includes hydraulic and liquid filtration. He will be responsible for industrial liquid filtration media sales.
Coolant Media Division Has Updated Brochures, Offers Seminars
The Coolant Media Division of BBA Filtration® recently created a new brochure outlining the numerous filter media we offer for gravity, vacuum and pressure filtration systems. In addition, we routinely perform in-plant trials, detail projected cost savings and perform coolant analysis to help you achieve your cost reduction/containment objectives. We have also developed a Coolant Filtration Training Program that describes how various filters function, what different types of filter media are in use today, and how to select an appropriate media for your system. BBA Closes Lewisburg, Pennsylvania Facility
As part of its global restructuring program, BBA Group plcs Material Technology Divison closed its Lewisburg, Pennsylvania nonwovens manufacturing facility on February 28, 2002. Lewisburg manufactured wet laid products that were supplied to BBA Filtrations marketing arm, Snow Filtration. Snow will continue to supply wet laid products sourced from several long-time suppliers.
Matt Middlebrooks Presents Papers at Several Conferences
BBA Filtration® is committed, through its AQF division, to continuing research, and team member Matt Middlebrooks will present several papers this year to highlight the results.

AFSS Show Held in April
BBA Filtration® exhibited at The American Filtration and Separations Societys 15th Annual Technical Conference and Exposition. In addition to introducing Reemay Elite, the company exhibited its full line of filtration media.
