Reemay® Liberty™, a pool and spa filtration media with Microban antimicrobial product protection, was introduced at the International Pool and Spa Expo in Orlando, Florida, on November 1, 2005. The Reemay Liberty brand is an extension of the Reemay® line of pool and spa filter media, which has been used for more than 30 years in pool and spa filters and is the standard in the industry.

Reemay Liberty was engineered as a pool and spa media in response to customer suggestions. It has Microban® antimicrobial product protection built into every fiber for total protection to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew that can cause fouling of the filter. Microban technology is the antimicrobial product of choice and can be found in more than 450 top consumer and industrial brands around the world. Microban technology is used throughout the home including in countertops, cutting boards, shoes, towels and more.

In addition, this new pool and spa media offers a number of other advantages.
