Reemay® Liberty™, the newest member of the Reemay family of pool and spa media, is the most advanced media available to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold and fungi that can cause fouling of the filter cartridge. BBA Fiberweb’s BICO technology allows the Microban® antimicrobial product protection to be compounded directly into the fiber, providing consistent performance of the Microban® throughout the life of the filter.
The unique bicomponent fibers are engineered with a core and an outer sheath, an arrangement that allows detailed engineering of the media to meet the exact needs of pool and spa filtration. The fibers are smoother than found in previous pool and spa media, making Reemay® Liberty™ easier to clean than conventional filter media.
The Reemay® Liberty™ brand is an extension of the Reemay line of pool and spa filter media, which has been used for more than 30 years in pool and spa filters and is the standard in the industry.
