Typar/Tekton* is a spunbonded polypropylene filtration media that offers excellent uniformity and filtration efficiencies at a high strength. Typar/Tekton contains no binders, so the filtering area is not limited and there are no potential contaminants to leach out during the filtration process. Its continuous filament construction means it is suitable for die cutting and slitting and is unlikely to ravel or fray; there are no short staple fibers to be carried downstream to contaminate the filtrate.
