Confil is a family of wet laid media that exhibits exceptional spot to spot uniformity for consistent, controlled pore size. It is used frequently in metalworking/metalforming coolant filtration applications and other filtration applications where uniformity is critical. It is excellent for pleat support. Confil EFP (Enhanced Filtration Products) is a second generation product that provides high filtration efficiency with a lower weight media. Confil EFP reduces media usage, saving the customer considerable dollars in up-front expense as well as in downstream disposal costs while maintaining high removal rates.

Choice of fibers: polyester/cellulose blends, 100% polyester fibers, 100% polypropylene fibers, bicomponent olefin fibers, nylon, or blends (including cellulose)
Product weights: Confil 0.5-5.0 osy (17-170 gsm)
Confil EFP 0.8-1.8 osy (27-61 gsm)
